Job Description
Full-time PhD positions on planning and learning for automated driving at the Neurorobotics Lab, University of Freiburg, Germany. The project involves working in a team with excellent peers in a larger project with an industry partner.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science
- robotics
- machine learning
- or a related field
- strong mathematical background
- programming skills including in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow (programming experience in C++ would be a plus)
- excellent communication skills in English
- prior research experience in areas such as Reinforcement Learning and planning
- Scene understanding
- Multi-object tracking and prediction
- Graph neural networks
- Causal representation learning
- Uncertainty estimation in deep networks
- Self-supervised and unsupervised learning.
