Job Description
The research in the AI & Robotics group focuses on developing novel AI systems for real robot applications for manipulation tasks, e.g., grasping, pin-picking. Areas of focus include Autonomous Robot Learning (active learning, lifelong learning, intrinsic motivation) and Human-Robot Learning (imitation learning, interactive learning).
Requirements
- A very good degree (diploma/master's degree) in computer science
- mechatronics
- mechanical engineering
- industrial engineering
- or a comparable field. Very good programming skills (e.g.
- Python
- C++). Previous experience in hardware-related programming of robots (e.g. with ROS). (Deep) Reinforcement Learning background is a plus. Highly motivated
- independent with a high level of personal responsibility
- good communication
- and teamwork skills.
