About
One temporary research appointment in experimental high-energy physics, studying topological aspects of extreme QCD matter through interactions with jets. Nihar Ranjan Sahoo leads the ANRF-funded project. The initial one-year term may extend to two years after satisfactory review. Monthly support is INR 58,000 plus 10% HRA for PhD holders, or INR 42,000 plus 10% HRA while the degree award is pending. The selected candidate must join immediately after the offer.
Requirements
Indian nationals only; age at most 40 at closing. PhD in experimental high-energy or nuclear physics, or thesis submitted with official confirmation. Strong computational/data-analysis skills and evidence of high-quality research are required; RHIC/LHC, EIC, jets, C++/Python, ROOT, event generators or Geant4 experience is preferred.
