Research Associate - Supramolecular Chemistry x 4 (Fixed Term)

Four postdoctoral research associates join Professor Christopher Hunter's multidisciplinary team of postdocs and PhD students in the Yusuf Hamied Department of Chemistry to work in the general area of supramolecular chemistry. Appointees present their work orally, write internal reports and draft publications, share responsibility for supervising and training postgraduate and undergraduate research students, and help with the day-to-day running of the laboratory. Posts are funded for 12 months in the first instance; the advertised salary bands are £34,610-£35,608 and £37,694-£46,970.

A PhD in chemistry, or about to obtain one, and essential experience in some or all of organic synthesis, supramolecular chemistry, physical organic chemistry and computational chemistry, with the communication skills to present and write up research.
