Ross Laybutt Fellowship in Brain Cancer Research

Full-time postdoctoral research appointment in glioblastoma research at WEHI and within the Brain Cancer Centre network. The Ross Laybutt Fellowship supports an early-career researcher through significant brain-cancer projects, new experimental skills, mentorship, leadership development and scientific networking. The initial appointment lasts two years; any later fellowship-supported employment depends on funding and future recruitment processes.

PhD in a relevant discipline, normally zero to five years after award at application; candidates whose thesis is under examination may also apply. Strong research potential, communication and collaboration skills are expected. Unrestricted Australian work rights are mandatory and visa sponsorship is unavailable.
