About
Develop synthetic biological tools that make multicellular behaviour predictable and programmable within the Cell Science accelerator. Pursue questions about synthetic tissues and cell behaviour, using stem-cell engineering, high-content microscopy, molecular engineering and quantitative modelling. Collaborate with scientists and project specialists. The annualized salary range is USD 87,450–108,250; the primary work location is 615 Westlake Avenue North, Seattle, with most hours onsite and limited remote flexibility.

Requirements
PhD in biological or physical science, engineering or a related field and a peer-reviewed publication record establishing expertise in synthetic biology. Preferred experience includes 3D live fluorescence imaging, stem-cell models, screening libraries, DNA/RNA or protein design and image analysis. No more than three years after the PhD is a preference, rather than a stated mandatory eligibility limit.
