From fluctuating gravitons to Lorentzian quantum gravity

The asymptotic-safety programme aims to connect a viable high-energy theory of gravity with its low-energy effective description. This seminar reviews momentum-dependent graviton correlations, interactions with the Standard Model and computations directly in Lorentzian spacetime using spectral functions. These results contribute toward determining the quantum effective action across ultraviolet and infrared regimes.
