Towards Quantum Black Hole Microstates
Recording
Abstract
Microscopic descriptions of black holes are being investigated through cohomology and the phenomenon known as fortuity. This seminar reviews results in four-dimensional supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories with several small gauge groups and compares related work in ABJ(M) and SYK models. It considers implications for black holes with additional fields and for the information paradox.
