Brain Science

The Brain and Cognitive Sciences department seeks faculty across computational, cognitive and experimental approaches to brain science. The anticipated start is July 2027. Duties combine original research, graduate and undergraduate teaching, and student mentoring; the normal teaching load is 1.5 subjects annually. The assistant-professor nine-month pay range is $143,200–$154,000. Full consideration requires completed applications by 1 December 2026.

Funding for public engagement with brain science during Brain Awareness Week, 15–21 March 2027. Projects can connect neuroscience with arts, ethics, law or other disciplines and encourage dialogue between researchers and their communities. Innovative interdisciplinary approaches and first-time organisers from regions with few previous activities are encouraged. Funding decisions are expected in December 2026.
