In Physics and Quantum Physics

Study modern connections between gravitational theory and quantum information in an intensive doctoral school for young researchers. Lectures develop covariant phase space, boundary symmetries and edge modes in general relativity, then connect these tools to observable algebras, celestial holography and quantum reference frames. Leading researchers introduce the foundations and discuss current research directions at the interface of classical and quantum gravity. 11 April 2027 at 15:00 through 16 April at 17:00, Europe/Zurich (CEST, UTC+2). Participants must attend the full week. Preregistrat

Mixed-helicity sector of celestial symmetries and the shadow transform

Domenico Giuseppe Salluce · University of Udine

Combining opposite graviton helicities complicates the enlarged symmetry algebra at null infinity. This talk analyses higher-spin gravitational charges using covariant phase space. Restricting one helicity to a wedge sector yields a closed bracket structure in which the shadow transform is central, and produces a dual-mass extension of lower-spin BMS symmetries. A correspondence with celestial operator products then resolves soft-limit ordering ambiguities and computes products involving shadow-transformed soft gravitons.
