Topic: diversity and inclusion

A personal award recognises outstanding brain research alongside contributions to mentorship, equity, diversity and inclusion. The recipient presents a Special Lecture at the FENS Forum in July 2028. The nomination package includes a CV, proposed lecture, personal statement, outreach and inclusion activities, and an endorsement letter. The extended nomination deadline is 28 October 2026 at 17:00 CET.

Help organisers of smaller neuroscience meetings include speakers from underrepresented backgrounds. Eligible 2027 symposia, workshops and short courses must take place in person or in hybrid format and incorporate diversity and inclusion. Applications close on 30 September 2026 at 23:59 CEST.
