Topic: entangled states

In Physics and Quantum Mechanics

This talk investigates whether localized quantities can describe quantum circuits while respecting spacetime covariance. Evidence suggests that weak values form a tensor for each qubit whose local dynamics are unaffected by distant operations even in entangled states. Because both initial and final constraints matter, the description is determined across the whole circuit at once. The presentation discusses how that perspective relates to Bell constraints and possible underlying spacetime descriptions.

Quantum Simulation and Quantum Computing with Fermions

Immanuel Bloch · Max Planck Institute and LMU, Munich

Fermionic platforms offer microscopic probes of quantum matter and a route to quantum computation. The talk examines pseudogap formation in the Hubbard model through spin correlations and higher-order spin–charge measurements. It then presents elementary gates acting on orbital degrees of freedom, high-fidelity operations and persistent entangled states. These tools also provide ways to measure order parameters and pairing correlations in analogue quantum simulators.
