Topic: laboratory work

Lead a one-year moss carder bee recovery project linking species-recognition machine learning with conservation. The researcher will combine DNA-barcoded photographs, fieldwork, laboratory work and volunteer coordination to build a visual identification tool that guides monitoring and targeted surveys.

A two-day scientific workshop from the Biophysics Laboratory at UNAM’s Instituto de Ciencias Físicas, supported by the Biophysical Society. Students, researchers and academics explore UV–visible spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy and microplate spectrophotometry through keynote lectures, theoretical sessions and hands-on laboratory work. The programme links conceptual foundations to practical measurement and encourages collaboration across biophysics and related disciplines.
