GHGT-18 is an international forum for carbon capture, utilisation and storage, bringing together scientific research, demonstration projects, business strategy and policy across the CCUS value chain. The programme includes keynote and plenary talks, technical sessions, panel discussions, a business stream, poster sessions and networking, with more than 1,000 delegates expected. IEAGHG organises the conference, co-hosted by Australian Energy Producers, CO2CRC, CSIRO and Geoscience Australia.

The multidisciplinary AAAS Annual Meeting convenes scientists, engineers, policymakers, educators, and journalists to examine how research, policy, media, and public trust shape scientific progress and evidence-informed action.

This fellowship connects research on climate, energy and environmental issues with policy and public impact. Fellows undertake a mentored research project and an impact-focused capstone while joining interdisciplinary training, retreats and peer-support activities. The programme develops skills in policy translation, public communication, community engagement and research leadership. It provides salary and benefits plus a $6,000 research-support stipend. Support public engagement with brain research through community outreach, schools, advocacy or policy and media activities. Interdisciplinary projects may address ethical, legal and social questions. Apply through the IBRO portal by 15 October 2026, 23:59 CEST. Proposals need an event plan, host information, organisers’ CVs, budget, visibility plans and inclusion measures. Activities can occur outside Brain Awareness Week but must support its campaign.
