SIAM’s computational science and engineering meeting covers mathematical models, scalable algorithms, scientific software, high-performance computing and scientific machine learning. It takes place in Pittsburgh on 22–26 February 2027. Travel-support applications are open until 30 November 2026. Abstract deadlines have passed; registration is scheduled to open in December 2026. The meeting is co-located with ACDA27 and the International Meshing Roundtable.

Develop physics-based models and scientific software for geothermal and other energy-conversion systems. Research combines process components, coupled surface–subsurface flow, numerical optimization and technoeconomic assessment, including power, heat and lithium production. The Geothermal Energy and Geofluids group offers an initial one-year salaried postdoctoral contract, with extension dependent on performance. Apply through the ETH online recruitment portal.
