Develop a quantitative single-molecule imaging platform for drug discovery with Steven F. Lee. The initial focus is alpha-synuclein aggregation in Parkinson’s disease. Responsibilities include assay development, higher-throughput compound screening, image-analysis pipelines and coordination with academic and commercial partners. The role also contributes to intellectual-property strategy, customer discovery and translation into an externally usable technology. Funding initially covers 12 months.

This conference combines single-molecule imaging, genomics and theory to study dynamic gene regulation, from chromatin organization and transcription through RNA processing and translation. Measurements on individual DNA and RNA molecules in living systems are used to move toward predictive mechanistic models. Themes include epigenetic regulation, transcription dynamics, RNA fate, translation, quantitative theory, integration of imaging with genomics, and AI-assisted analysis of single-molecule data. The 2027 edition includes abstract-selected presentations and panel discussions on theory, AI
