About
Learn observational-drawing techniques for biology and ecology education in classrooms, laboratories and field settings. Nancy Lowe’s one-hour practical workshop uses drawing to strengthen observation, prompt scientific questions and make learning visible. Participants can work with a pen, pencil and blank paper; an optional supply list costs about US$10. No drawing experience is required, and people at all career stages are welcome.
Online on 15 October 2026, 12:00–13:00 Eastern Daylight Time (America/New_York, UTC−04:00). Registration costs US$5 for ESA student members, US$10 for regular members and US$20 for non-members. An ESA account is required to book. Registration closes one hour before the workshop.
