Foundations in Dissemination and Implementation Science: Application to Aging Research
Gerontology and Public Health workshop
About
Dissemination and implementation research examines how effective interventions reach clinical practice and remain useful in real settings. This introductory workshop applies those methods to aging research, addressing the gap between research findings and everyday care. Participants will examine conceptual frameworks, implementation strategies, study designs, and outcome measures, including implications for equitable access and sustainability. Small-group work, live polls, and moderated questions provide opportunities to apply the concepts. Attendees are encouraged to identify a current or planned project before the workshop and use it during the practical discussions.
Live online on 2026-12-17, 12:00–14:00 EST (America/New_York). Registration requires a GSA member or non-member account; the fee is US$15 for members or US$25 for non-members. Annual Scientific Meeting attendance is not required.
