Workshop
Out of Equilibrium Physics in Low Dimensional Quantum Fluids
Mathias Albert, Adam Rançon, Frédéric Chevy and 1 more
About
Low-dimensional quantum fluids exhibit a wealth of non-equilibrium phenomena arising from enhanced correlations and constraints on dynamics. This Les Houches workshop focuses on recent experimental and theoretical advances in the out-of-equilibrium dynamics of one- and two-dimensional quantum fluids, including atomic and photonic platforms. Tutorials will provide foundational tools, while invited seminars will highlight breakthroughs in non-linear hydrodynamics, thermalisation, driven dynamics and quantum mixtures. Places are limited to approximately 50 participants, with acceptance notified in early February; the participant cost of €630 includes accommodation and meals, and a limited number of financial-support grants can cover the registration fee. Preference is given to participants who submit a poster title and abstract and attend the entire school, and some posters will be selected for short oral presentations.
