Workshop
Shaping the future of Numerical Linear Algebra in Europe
Ángeles Carmona, Daniel Kressner, Emre Mengi and 1 more
About
Workshop at the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica fostering interaction between researchers in numerical linear algebra around topics of high current interest: randomized NLA, NLA in high-performance computing, NLA in industry, numerical multilinear algebra in machine learning, and quantum algorithms in NLA, with the ultimate goal of creating cross-national working groups on these topics. The programme combines lectures by renowned researchers in each topic with contributed talks and interactive activities, including breakout group discussions, problem-driven working sessions, reporting and feedback sessions and moderated cross-disciplinary discussions. Registration fee EUR 100 (coffee breaks and reception included); registration requires a CRM web user account.
