23rd International Symposium on Chromaffin Cell Biology (ISCCB 2027)

It treats the chromaffin cell both as a classical model of regulated secretion and as a model for neuroendocrine development, stress adaptation and disease. Preliminary themes are excitation–secretion coupling; vesicle biology and regulated secretion; chromogranins and secretory cargo; development, plasticity and regeneration; stress physiology and disease, including pheochromocytoma, paraganglioma and neuroblastoma; and emerging technologies such as single-cell omics, lineage tracing, advanced imaging, electrophysiology and organoids. Studies of related neuroendocrine and secretory systems, from neurons to endocrine and immune cells, are welcome. The programme will include plenary and invited lectures, abstract-selected talks, poster sessions, workshops and early-career opportunities. Typical attendance is 120–180 participants.
