The 26th Australian Institute of Physics Congress 2026
Physics, Astrophysics and congress
About
The congress brings together physics researchers, educators and industry practitioners for keynote presentations, focus sessions, workshops and scientific exchange. It is co-located with the Australian and New Zealand Conference on Optics and Photonics, with the Conference on Optoelectronic and Microelectronic Materials and Devices included as a dedicated topical track.
The scientific programme spans optics, astrophysics, quantum science, atomic and molecular physics, condensed matter, theoretical particle physics and physics education. Paid attendance includes full-congress and selected-day categories, with student, retiree and school-teacher rates. Members of eligible partner societies can obtain membership-based discounts. Abstract and focus-session submissions closed on 3 July; early-bird registration ended on 28 August, and registration closes on 20 November.
