68th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition
Hematology and Oncology meeting by American Society of Hematology
About
Hosted by the American Society of Hematology, this meeting connects basic and translational blood research with clinical practice. Scientific sessions examine how genomic diagnostics, long-read sequencing and three-dimensional marrow models improve understanding of inherited disorders; how clonal selection and immune escape drive marrow failure; and how RNA regulation offers therapeutic targets in leukemia.
AI-assisted flow cytometry, spatial multi-omics and epigenomic profiling link molecular mechanisms to diagnosis and risk stratification. Further sessions investigate stem-cell niches and immune control, tissue-resident T cells, iron homeostasis and erythrocyte metabolism, plasma-cell biology and treatment resistance. Structural and biophysical studies of coagulation, engineered vascular models and targeted imaging address thrombosis and fibrinolysis, including anti-PF4 disorders and safer platelet inhibition. Transplantation and cellular therapies extend into autoimmune disease. Didactic presentations, panels and questions accompany scientific, educational, oral-abstract and poster sessions.
Programme times are America/Chicago (CST, UTC−6). The main meeting starts on 12 December with in-person ticketed expert sessions and poster walks at 08:00; Education/Scientific Program and oral-abstract sessions begin at 09:30. The Sunday plenary runs 14:00–16:00, Monday Education/Scientific Program sessions begin at 10:30, and Tuesday late-breaking abstracts begin at 07:30. Best of ASH ends at 13:00 on 15 December. Most sessions stream live; recordings remain available according to the purchased access tier. Friday workshops and satellite symposia are separate pre-meeting activities.
Advance in-person or Real-Time virtual fees are USD 900 for active/international members, USD 1,700 for non-members, USD 175 for associate/student/resident members, USD 275 for non-member trainees and USD 800 for allied health professionals. The advance discount ends 21 October at 23:59 Pacific Time; non-member trainee advance rates continue through 1 December. Extended virtual access costs extra. Registration requires an ASH account and payment. In-person expert sessions require separate on-site tickets; trainee-only activities require the appropriate badge.
