AMOS 2027
Meteorology, Atmospheric Science and conference by Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society
About
The society’s 33rd conference presents research on weather, oceans and climate, from fundamental processes to applications in forecasting, infrastructure, agriculture, health and ecosystems. Sessions cover extreme and compound events, hydroclimate, polar systems, ocean and coastal processes, atmospheric composition, climate variability, high-resolution modelling and machine learning.
A second stream examines warning services, adaptation, Indigenous knowledge, education and the use of science in industry and policy. Workshops take place on 8 February, followed by conference proceedings on 9–12 February. Abstract submissions closed on 6 September 2026. Presenters must register by 1 December, which is also the end of the early-bird discount.
