IEEE MetroXRAINE 2026 — Metrology for eXtended Reality, Artificial Intelligence and Neural Engineering
Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience conference
Starts in 11 days
About
MetroXRAINE examines how measurement principles and instrumentation can make extended-reality systems, brain–computer interfaces and artificial intelligence more accurate and robust. Scientific sessions connect biosignal processing, wearable sensing, neuroimaging, human–machine interaction and rehabilitation with intelligent industrial measurement and immersive environments.
The programme explores diagnostics using deep learning and hybrid intelligence, motor-behaviour measurements that guide neurological rehabilitation, and the movement of generative AI and language models onto resource-constrained edge devices. A further plenary considers how 6G networks, joint sensing and communication, distributed computing and embedded AI can support real-time collaboration between robots. Contributed talks, demonstrations, posters, tutorials and thematic sessions provide opportunities to compare methods and applications.
All times are Europe/Berlin (CEST, UTC+2). The opening is 09:00–09:30 on 20 October; sessions start at 09:00 on 21 and 22 October. Keynotes are 11:40–12:40 on 20 October, 11:10–12:10 and 12:10–13:10 on 21 October, and 11:10–12:10 on 22 October. Closing and awards run 18:00–18:30 on 22 October.
Current registration fees are EUR 640 for IEEE members, EUR 780 for non-members, EUR 410 for student/life members and EUR 470 for non-member students. Student rates exclude the gala dinner and do not cover publication of an accepted paper. Member rates require a membership number. Special-event-only registrations have separate fees.
