Physics Opportunities at an Electron-Ion Collider (POETIC) XII International Conference
Nuclear Physics, Particle Physics and conference by Indian Institute of Technology Goa
About
Assess the scientific opportunities of the Electron-Ion Collider as detector construction, software and computing move toward implementation. The conference examines nucleon and nuclear structure in quantum chromodynamics, including the origins of proton spin and correlations between spin and momentum. Jet physics and small-x dynamics connect theoretical predictions with detector technology and analysis requirements. The meeting brings the international EIC community together to discuss recent results, coordinate contributions and shape future experimental and theoretical work.
15 February 2027 at 10:00 through 19 February at 12:00, Asia/Kolkata (IST, UTC+5:30). Early registration through 30 October 2026: USD 350 faculty or USD 250 PhD students/postdocs; Indian-affiliated participants pay INR 15,000 or INR 10,000 respectively.
