Plasmonically Powered Processes
Nanophotonics, Materials Science and conference by Gordon Research Conferences
About
The conference examines how plasmonic excitations drive reactions, heat flow, sensing and changes in material behaviour. Sessions connect hot carriers and local electromagnetic fields with thermoplasmonics, electrochemistry, strong coupling and cavity effects.
Other themes include nonlinear and chiral responses, semiconductor and oxide alternatives to metals, two-dimensional materials, and real-time chemical or biological sensing. Selected student and postdoctoral contributions will be highlighted in talks. Attendance requires a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or an accepted equivalent. Applications are subject to selection and available capacity.
