Method: 100 C57BL/6 mice were divided into: blank (A), PD model (B), PD+probiotics (C1), PD+"Anti-PD Granules" (C2), and PD+combined (C3). PD was induced by 1-Methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine(MPTP) injection. Fecal samples were collected pre- and post-intervention. Gut microbiota DNA was sequenced and analyzed bioinformatically.
Results: Number of Operational Taxonomic Units (OTUs) decreased in B (p<0.01) but unique OTUs increased in C1–C3 (p<0.01).
Alpha diversity (Simpson index) was higher in C1–C3 than B (p<0.01). PCoA showed C1–C3 clustered closer to A after intervention, while B was distinct. C1 significantly increased Actinomycetes and Akkermansiaceae while reducing Bacteroides vs. B (p<0.01).
Conclusion: Both interventions improved microbiota diversity and structure in PD mice. Probiotics showed superior modulation of species composition, with no synergistic effect from combined treatment.
