FIRST BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN NEUROSCIENCE IN SPAIN

The Bachelor’s Degree in Neuroscience at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) represents a pioneering educational initiative, as the first undergraduate neuroscience program established in Spain. Designed in response to the growing demand for highly qualified professionals in brain research and neurotechnology, this degree offers a comprehensive and forward-looking curriculum fully delivered in English and embedded in a strong international context. The program is explicitly oriented toward research excellence in neuroscience, integrating solid foundations in biology, and computer science with advanced training in basic neuroscience, neurotechnology, and neuropsychology. From the early stages of the degree, students become familiar with research methodologies, data analysis, and critical thinking, which fosters a strong scientific mindset and prepares them for academic and professional careers in fields related to neuroscience.
