About
Support for jointly designed natural-sciences and engineering projects linking Canadian and overseas university teams. Apply by November 25, 2026, before 8 p.m. Eastern Time, normally within 120 days of the foreign award. Teams affected by the 2025 closure must ask NSERC about the stated exception. The overseas proposal must identify the Canadian team and its role; submit it and the award letter with the Canadian application. Each team must account for at least 25% of the combined budget. One application is permitted per twelve months. Non-academic partners are ineligible.
