The University of Queensland offers one AUD 5,000 travel scholarship, held for up to one year, for current higher-degree research students in agricultural science, food science, plant and forestry science or agribusiness. Funding supports meaningful engagement with regional, rural and remote Australian communities on research addressing local priorities. The application form accepts both PhD and MPhil students, domestic and international. Priority goes to Queensland regional or rural connections, proposed travel within those communities, or a commitment to work there after graduation. Applications require a principal-advisor endorsement, a CV, research and travel plans, and supporting documents.
