About

Supports therapeutically motivated drug-discovery research, including experimentally validated AI methods and biomedical imaging. Pure chemistry without therapeutic evaluation is excluded. The letter-of-intent deadline is 30 October 2026 at noon Eastern time; full applications are by invitation.

Career stage: PhD

Apply with a supervisor or host

Covers: USD 30,000 per year for 12, 18 or 24 months, primarily stipend; up to USD 1,000 yearly for specified research or US conference incidentals. No tuition, fringe benefits or overheads.

Host location: United States

Accredited US university; full-time in-residence research.

Nationality or residence: US and non-US citizens may apply.

Full-time resident students at accredited US universities; qualifying exams completed by 28 February 2027 and PhD completion no earlier than 1 August 2028. A publication or poster is required. One applicant per lab per programme cycle. NIH-F recipients and first-cycle full-application invitees are ineligible; overlapping stipend support is prohibited.
