About
Train in pathogen genomic epidemiology and bioinformatics through a PhD registered at Wits in Johannesburg. NICD mentors lead the work, with US co-mentors at Pittsburgh or CDC and part of the training expected in the United States. Apply by 10 October 2026 using the programme’s email instructions. Submit a CV, motivation, two references, MSc certificate and transcript, and South African identification. Opportunities start as soon as possible.
