Funding

Eligible applicants include established U.S. and non-U.S. public or private educational and nonprofit institutes, research centres and national laboratories, subject to the source's exclusions. Academic principal investigators must hold a tenured, tenure-track or equivalent position in a department with a PhD programme; qualifying non-academic investigators must be full-time, non-visiting PhD-level research or senior scientists. Each proposal normally has no more than three principal investigators.

Eligible applicants include higher-education institutions, nonprofit and for-profit organizations, governments, tribal organizations, and eligible foreign organizations. The NOFO does not allow foreign subawards or subcontracts.

Eligible applicants include public and private higher-education institutions, nonprofit organizations, for-profit organizations, and eligible state, local, tribal, and federal government entities. Non-U.S. organizations are not eligible to apply; the full NIH notice governs foreign components and collaborations.

Accredited US two-year colleges offering associate degrees, certificates or workforce training aligned with chemical technical careers. Faculty or administrators must lead relevant chemistry-related programmes, though a chemistry degree is not required. Prior FY24–FY26 awardees may apply for new or continuing work; separate campuses may submit separately.

Approved MRFF Eligible Organisations only; co-designed primary health care equity research meeting the selected stream’s geographic conditions and the GO8477 guidelines.

NHMRC-approved Administering Institutions only; applicants must satisfy the Clinical Trials and Cohort Studies Grants 2026 guidelines.

Undergraduate or graduate-level students registered at Karolinska Institutet or a collaborating university, studying data science, machine learning, engineering or a relevant subject, with strong Python or R skills. The scholarship supports qualifying research education rather than employment.

A tenured or tenure-track independent group leader at an EU, Schengen-area or UK university, hospital or nonprofit institution leads a consortium of two to four groups. The lead needs at least 75% host employment and guaranteed salary. At least one applicant must have a Danish group and at least 75% Danish employment; co-applicants may be worldwide.

Applicants at organisations eligible for MRC funding; established and new investigators; international co-leads subject to UKRI policy.

The appointment authority of a Danish university, hospital or nonprofit research institution applies for an assessed candidate and qualifying faculty offer. Mobility to a new institution is required: normally no more than 12 of the previous 36 months at the host. Internal recruitment is excluded; domestic moves normally require career progression.

PhD in physics or a related field awarded within seven years.

The applicant is an active ACS-member PI in a chemical-sciences department at a US institution of higher education, supporting currently enrolled MS/PhD students within one year of degree completion on 9 October 2026. An institutional Vice President of Research or equivalent must provide a signed support letter; authorized organizational and finance representatives are required. One grant per institution.

Current UQ PhD or MPhil students in the specified agricultural, food, plant, forestry or agribusiness fields, with qualifying travel plans and principal-advisor endorsement.

Regular faculty in non-doctoral departments at eligible nonprofit institutions, with institutional PI certification and authority to supervise undergraduates. Appointment must cover the award. One eligible co-PI is permitted; applicants cannot hold another active PRF research grant.

Assistant professors or equivalent at US non-doctoral departments, normally within five years of their first regular faculty appointment, with PhD requirements completed. Institutional PI approval and authority to supervise undergraduates are required. Existing active PRF award holders cannot apply.

Brazilian private, for-profit micro/small companies and qualifying startups, headquartered and managed in Brazil. The coordinator needs a formal company link declared in an updated Lattes CV; the company must be registered with CNPq. Neither the coordinator nor existing company employees may receive these fellowships.

Postdoctoral applicants need a PhD from the past five years, or a documented thesis submission planned by December 2026; the degree must be completed before starting. Research fellows need a PhD over five but at most ten years old and two years of post-PhD research. Prior NRF A/B/C ratings, continuing 2027 awards and third postdoctoral funding cycles are excluded.

Graduate student or doctoral-level psychologist within ten years postdoctoral, with trauma-research expertise and an eligible nonprofit or governmental affiliation. International applicants from countries with US diplomatic relations; English applications.
