MRFF 2026 Primary Health Care Research Grant Opportunity (GO8477)

Research and medical innovation to improve equity in Australian primary health care. Projects must investigate or trial approaches, including adapting successful trials, and be co-designed with primary health services and consumers. Stream 1 permits organisations in Modified Monash areas MM1–7; Stream 2 requires the majority-research organisation, Chief Investigator A, at least half of the investigators and all participants to meet the stated regional, rural or remote MM2–7 conditions. New applicants must submit minimum data by 5:00 pm ACT local time on 2026-10-07; this earlier mandatory milestone is the listing deadline. Research projects completed within five years of the scheduled commencement date; the official individual estimated grant value is up to AUD 3,000,000.
