Zurich, Switzerland
Deadline not stated
About
The Laboratory of Exercise and Health seeks a bioinformatician to lead single-cell and spatial genomics analysis of human and mouse skeletal muscle. Research examines communication between vascular endothelial populations and neighbouring cells, including its disruption in disease. Responsibilities include cell-type annotation, integration of transcriptomic and other omics data, cross-species comparisons, CRISPR-screen analysis, cell-communication and metabolic modelling, and reproducible analysis pipelines.
The role works closely with experimental researchers and contributes visualisation, manuscripts and reporting. Apply online with a CV, a one-page motivation and research-interest statement, and two referees. No closing date is advertised.
Requirements
PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology/genomics or a quantitative field; single-cell RNA-seq expertise, R/Python, version control and HPC experience; strong English.
