Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track - Bioengineering

The Department of Bioengineering in the UW College of Engineering is hiring two tenure-track Assistant Professors to build internationally recognised, extramurally funded research programmes that advance fundamental bioengineering while creating new capabilities for studying human disease and developing next-generation medicines, bridging engineering and biology across molecular, cellular, tissue and organ scales, and to teach and mentor across the undergraduate, master's and PhD programmes.

The nine-month appointments have a three-year renewable term from September 2027 with a base salary of $8,500-$13,000 per month. Priority was given to applications received by 1 November 2026.

PhD (or foreign equivalent) in bioengineering or a related discipline; an MD (or foreign equivalent) is also acceptable. Submit a one-page cover letter and the other materials listed in the posting via Interfolio.
