Associate Professor in Environmental Chemistry

A permanent associate professorship in the Section for Environmental Chemistry and Toxicology, Department of Environmental Science, Aarhus University, in Roskilde, from April 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The post-holder builds an internationally strong, externally funded research programme on the occurrence, fate, transport, transformation, exposure and impacts of chemical contaminants in natural and engineered systems, provides research-based advice to Danish ministries and authorities, teaches at MSc, PhD and lifelong-learning levels, supervises junior researchers and develops collaborations across toxicology, microbiology, biotechnology, modelling and data science.

A PhD in environmental chemistry or a closely related discipline, documented research in environmental chemistry, peer-reviewed publications, external funding experience or potential, and university teaching and supervision experience.
