Data Scientist NIHR BioResource (Fixed Term)

Support NIHR BioResource cohort discovery by linking genomic, phenotypic, demographic and clinical data. Prepare research cohorts and de-identified datasets, manage metadata assets and work with researchers on data protection and security. The role is based at Cambridge Biomedical Campus and initially funded until 31 March 2028. Full-time hours are 37 per week; 80% part-time and flexible or hybrid arrangements may be considered. A Research Passport is required.

Experience handling large or genomic datasets, metadata standards and database modelling; Python including Pandas and NumPy, SQL or NoSQL databases, Linux and shell scripting.
