Doctoral Student in Neuromotor Interfaces for Dexterous Robot Teleoperation (multimodal egocentric vision + EMG)
Robotics, Human-Computer Interaction, Signal Processing and doctoral researcher position at ETH Zurich
About
Develop interfaces for dexterous robot teleoperation by combining wrist or forearm surface electromyography with egocentric computer vision. Research covers signal processing, representation learning, motor-intent decoding, object and hand understanding, multimodal reasoning and real-time sensing. The role focuses on robotics and interactive systems; it has no clinical or biomedical focus. Candidates may also prototype wearable hardware and evaluate mixed-reality applications.
