Neutrino Theory Network Postdoctoral Fellowship

Develop an independent research programme in neutrino physics or astrophysics that benefits current and future US experimental programmes. Fellows may choose a US university or national laboratory, with an option to divide time between two hosts by agreement. Support includes salary, benefits and USD 10,000 annually for research and travel over three years, subject to funding. Up to two awards are expected, with initial starts in autumn 2027.

PhD in theoretical physics with demonstrated neutrino-physics expertise. Submit a cover letter, CV, publication list, research proposal and three recommendations. Initial selection evaluates the applicant independently of a host; finalists develop a programme with proposed host investigators and obtain host commitment letters. The application portal gives 16 October 2026 as its deadline; review begins later that month.
