About
Undertake doctoral research on psychiatric genomics at the UCT Neuroscience Institute, supervised by Megan Campbell. The project uses large-scale genomic analysis, statistical genetics and computational methods adapted to diverse and admixed populations. Training is tailored to the project and includes contributions to community engagement. A grant-funded stipend supports the position from early 2027; continuation after year one depends on satisfactory progress.
Requirements
A background or strong interest in genetics, bioinformatics, neuroscience or related disciplines; strong analytical and writing skills.
