The joint doctoral programme of the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids, TU Dresden and the University of St Andrews offers experimental and theoretical projects in solid-state chemistry and condensed matter physics. Students combine research with graduate courses and general skills training across the partner institutions. Funding and pay depend on the primary project location.
