About
Four-year doctoral position in the Ultra-High Field Neuroimaging group and Spinoza Centre for Neuroimaging. The project maps human cerebellar structure in postmortem brain tissue to provide a reference for in-vivo ultra-high-field MRI experiments. Research combines tissue staining, microscopy, quantitative image analysis and postmortem MRI, with access to 7T imaging and the Netherlands Brain Bank. The advertised appointment is full-time in Amsterdam.
Requirements
Master’s degree completed or nearing completion in biomedical engineering, physics, biology or a related field, with strong technical skills and an interest in the brain. Python or MATLAB and strong English are required. Microscopy, neuroanatomy, quantitative image analysis or MRI experience is advantageous.
