Plant Genomics and Variation Team Leader

Job Description
Lead an approximately 15-person team responsible for plant, invertebrate and genetic-variation resources in Ensembl and the European Variation Archive. This faculty position combines scientific strategy, genomic data services, staff and budget management, fundraising and community partnerships. The team supports crop genomics and variation research across species. The appointment is for five years, renewable up to nine, with hybrid working in Hinxton.
Requirements
- Relevant PhD or equivalent experience
- at least six years in bioinformatics or genomics applied to plant science or breeding
