About

A two-year postdoc (1 February 2027 to 31 January 2029) at the Department of Biomedicine, Aarhus University, in a translational project on the interplay between immune cells and fibroblasts in skin fibrosis, with a focus on systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) and keloid scarring. The project tests the hypothesis that immune checkpoint receptor pathways regulate interactions between T helper cells and fibroblasts, combining patient-derived samples, in vitro co-cultures, 3D ex vivo skin models and animal models, and integrating multi-omics data including single-cell and spatial transcriptomics to identify fibrosis mechanisms and therapeutic strategies.

Requirements

A PhD in immunology, biomedicine or a related field with experimental laboratory and multi-omics data experience.
