Postdoc in intestinal regeneration and mucosal immunology

A full-time two-year postdoctoral position, extendable subject to funding, in the lab of Dr. Srustidhar Das at the Department of Clinical Research and the Research Unit of Inflammation Research, Department of Molecular Medicine, University of Southern Denmark. The translational programme investigates how inflammation reshapes the intestinal epithelium and its tissue niche in inflammatory bowel disease, and how these changes can be targeted to promote safe and durable mucosal healing, combining patient-derived organoid and co-culture systems with research in epithelial biology and mucosal immunology.

The role includes research, teaching and supervision.

A PhD in a relevant biomedical field with experience in intestinal biology, immunology or organoid systems.
