Postdoc Position in Computational Materials Chemistry at the Mads Clausen Institute

A two-year postdoctoral position at the Mads Clausen Institute, University of Southern Denmark, in Sønderborg, in computational materials chemistry. The work uses first-principles (DFT) calculations, high-throughput screening, thermodynamic and phase-stability analysis, crystal structure prediction, materials informatics and machine-learning-driven discovery, preferably for inorganic functional materials such as perovskite-related compounds. The postdoc contributes to research in CatMatX and NanoSYD and co-supervises students. Expected start: 1 March 2027.

A PhD in computational materials chemistry, computational materials science, theoretical chemistry, condensed matter physics, chemical physics or a closely related field.
