About
Develop digital platforms for energy-system research in Mérida Labs using the UBC Smart Hydrogen Energy District. Projects combine renewable energy and hydrogen technologies, datasets, simulation, optimisation and machine learning to support decarbonisation research. The fellow works with academic and industry partners, mentors students and helps identify new research directions. The one-year appointment is renewable subject to performance.

Requirements
Relevant PhD within three years; programming, version control, machine learning, optimisation and research-publication skills. Digital twins, smart grids and transportation modelling are useful.
