Job Description
The AlHaj Abed laboratory at MPI-IE seeks a postdoctoral researcher to investigate chromatin structure and gene regulation. Work includes Hi-C and Micro-C analysis, adapting multi-way genomic contact methods for Drosophila, visualising Pore-C data, and image analysis. The initial contract is one year. Candidates need a biology PhD, R or Python skills, relevant chromatin-analysis experience, and strong English. Applications close on 18 September 2026. Mobile working within Germany may be possible for up to 40% of working hours in justified cases.
